Tips
Installation Tips
- Space required: 5″x5″x15″ (13x13x38cm) including 2-1/2 inches of clear space under unit for cartridge change.
- Install vertically with cartridge hanging down.
- Never use saddle valve for connection
- Use 3/8″ water line and minimum length of tubing possible.
- Flush new cartridge at full flow for three minutes to purge air.
Operation Tips
- Change cartridges at least annually
- Change cartridges when capacity is reached or when pressure falls below 10 psi
- Service flow rate must not exceed 0.5 gpm
- Always flush the filter cartridge at time of installation and cartridge change
